About Notabilia

Classroom

Established in 1990, Notabilia Education Centre provides quality academic support to students from Grade 1-12, including those in university and the professional working world. Located just off of Steeles and Warden Avenue in Markham, we specialize in offering assistance and accelerated learning to students in math, science, English, and French.

All of our courses are conducted on a one-on-one basis or in a small group setting, available both in-person as well as online. Each class consists of a tutor’s instruction which is tailored to suit the needs of the individual receiving support. All classes are followed by independent tasks at home, in order to supplement the learning done at the Centre. All teaching materials are frequently updated in accordance with curriculum expectations, as set by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

The tutors that work with the Centre are as diverse as our students; they include experienced tutors, professionals in the field such as engineers and accountants, and certified Ontario teachers. All are fully qualified to provide support to children, youth, and adults experiencing challenges with a variety of subject areas.
