Teacher teaching

We are always looking for new people to join our talented team of tutors to teach English, French, Mathematics and Science. Your duties will include primarily: conducting lectures and lessons according to the Ontario curriculum requirements; marking and editing student homework; following the teaching approaches established by the Centre.

The position offers a solid preparatory platform for candidates intending to apply to teacher training programs.

The teaching will be conducted both on site at the centre which is located in Markham, Ontario, as well as online through various meeting platforms. It will take place on weeknights and over the weekends. Class sizes vary from one-on-one to groups of up to twelve students.

The centre accepts a broad range of applications from professionals, qualified teachers, experienced tutors, graduates, and undergraduates.

Candidates must be:

  • In strong academic standing in their studies;
  • Familiar with the Ontario curriculum; and
  • Possess excellent English communication skills
